Disneyland

Jon's parents gave us a wonderful early Christmas present: tickets to Disneyland for our annual fall reunion. I actually started crying when I saw the wonder and amazement on Eve's face, and her excitement as she twirled to the magical music that was playing at the entrance to Disneyland.

We went the week before Thanksgiving, and that was just the PERFECT timing. I could not believe how few people were there. We literally went on 8 rides in one hour - if we'd been in the summer we would have waited in line for at least that long for just one ride. And the Christmas decorations were really beautiful. I loved hearing the Christmas music as we walked along the streets.

This is Eve and Eldon with Papa on the Teacups ride, which was one of Eve's favorites. She also surprised all of us by wanting to go on the roller coasters - her favorite being Splash Mountain - we went on it three times in one day.

Below is a few of us on the roller coaster in Toon Town - Eve and I in front, then Kim (Jon's sister) and Cory (our brother-in-law). And yes, Jon was there too - I just can't find all our Disneyland photos!
