K, so I've noticed that most of my friends' blogs are really about themselves with a touch of what their families are doing mixed in... I kinda like that idea, so I thought I'd do a post about me... Maybe I'll do one every now and then. It's kind of interesting to see that there really is some substance to who "Sabina" is...
5 things people don't know about me.
1. I loved school (all grades and college) and miss it big time. I actually miss the homework – yes, I know I’m a nerd.
2. I’ve never broken a bone – just cracked my head open once (hey, that explains a lot.)
3. I love Disney movies and have just about every line memorized from the ones that came out when I was a kid. My favorites are The Little Mermaid and Aladdin.
4. I’ve always wished I was a funny, witty person – luckily I sometimes feel like one with my family – but no one else! I can especially get my sister, Sami, laughing hard (“I’m a chocolate donut!” – don’t worry, only Sami will get that).
5. I do pretty darn good impersonations of different accents, but you’re not likely to hear them b/c that’s another skill reserved for my family.
3 of my bad habits.
1. Eating just because I’m bored/tired/don’t want to do what I have to do/there’s food there/everyone else is doing it… (not to mention it’s mealtime and I’m supposed to!)
2. Not telling the whole truth to keep myself from looking bad (this is why you think I’m perfect, Mary). ;)
3. Not making good use of my time.

7. My sweet Grama Sabina hired me to come “clean” her already immaculately clean house once a week… I loved it, just being there with her or with her cute little notes (“There’s orange juice in the fridge. Love ya, Me.”).

1-I’ve throroughly enjoyed summer and will continue to til the very end…
2-Hoping to rip the nasty carpet out of my dining area and put in wood flooring! This is a new subject of discussion in the house... we'll see if anything comes of it.
3-Christmas! I love the Christmas season. I’ve already started thinking of it…
4-Losing some weight (guess I better start working on it instead of hoping it will get lost on its own).

I've missed you, Sabina! It was great to catch up on your blog again. It sounds like you are doing great. I love your family picture on the top of your blog! I read down a bit, too. What kind of Canon SLR did you get? I'm hoping to buy one in the next month, and I was trying to decide for sure which model. Love to you!
