We had so much fun with TWO Easter egg hunts - one at each set of grandparents' homes. The kids had as much fun finding the eggs as opening them. In my family, the eggs often had just a number on it that corresponded to a prize that wouldn't fit in an egg (like a jar of pickles, stuffed animal, etc). My Grandma Sabina (aka GeeGee) brought 70 eggs to hide, plus everyone in the hunt brought 20. Wow.
And the hunt at the Morrey's was made extra special by the prizes Auntie Kim provided: small prints of the Savior in booklet form for each child. Nana and Papa also hid a golden egg for each adult filled with cash ranging from $5's to $20's. Lots of fun!
