We spent the first week of our vacation in Port Orchard, our old home town. Our friends, Bonnie & Rick Cox, were sooo kind to house us for the week. :) We got to go to church in our old ward, and hunt for thimble berries, crabbies, and seashells at Manchester State Park on Sunday. We played at Manchester Pier on Monday, Yukon Harbor Pier on Tuesday, Bunco with friends on Wednesday while Jon fished in the Hood Canal, visiting with friends on Thursday, and then packed up to head to the coast on Friday. It was a wonderful week with wonderful friends. Oh, how we miss the people and the place of Port Orchard!
For the SECOND week of our Washington vacation, we stayed in beautiful places like Lake Crescent, Kalaloch, and Forks... we got some GORGEOUS pictures of the scenery, if I don't say so myself, so if you'd like to see them, click here! (It'll be worth it)
